Hi, I'm Mel! Creator and Owner of MGIL PHOTOGRAPHY.
The start of my photography journey began when I was a digital content intern with York United FC in 2023. I started out photographing tunnel fits, match day experience, and in-game shots. From there I fell in love with shooting the sport of soccer and have since been lucky enough to photograph other sports and events.
Since then I have covered many special events and individuals in the sports space which include: Canadian Premier League matches, Canadian Championship, League1 Ontario, and even NBA players at the Ball Don't Stop Pro-Am in Toronto.
In June I received my degree in Sport Media from Toronto Metropolitan University, and I currently work as a Photo Editor for a Real Estate company.
I have been offering my photography services since early 2024 and I am looking to expand my portfolio beyond just sports and photograph events/individuals in any industry.
